Portal 2 Minimum System Requirements: 3 GHz P4

If you like puzzles, then a game that is right for you is Portal 2. According to the plan, this game will be released on April 18, 2011. It’s the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2007 video game Portal. And the minimum system requirements of Portal 2 is not too heavy, you will be able to run this game smoothly if your PC can play COD: Black Ops or FIFA 11. A Pentium 4 with 3.0 GHz can still play this game. Meanwhile, ATI Radeon X800 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 or Intel HD Graphics 2000 are the minimum video cards that can run this game.

OS: Windows 7 / Vista / XP
Processor / CPU: 3 GHz P4, Dual Core 2.0 with 2.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2
Memory: 1GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
Hard Disk Space: 7.6 GB of Space
Video cards: 128 MB or more and DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 2.0b (ATI Radeon X800 or higher / NVIDIA GeForce 7600 or higher / Intel HD Graphics 2000 or higher).
Audio: DirectX 9.0c compatible

For recommended system requirements, until now, there is still no information. Maybe, if your PC specifications at least as above, I am sure you will be able to play Portal 2. If you want to play with high resolution and high settings, it is advisable to use a higher video cards, the GeForce GTS 250 or GeForce 9800 GT seems to be the right choice.

    Guys. The 3.0 GHz is recommended, not required. I run a 2.4GHz processor and manage 90 FPS average in this game on all high settings except effects, which is medium. I run windowed mode in 1024×768. Haven’t tested higher resolutions.

    I think 3.0GHz is only needed if you play on Windows Vista/7.
